South East Museums Networking and Sharing Good Practice event at The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge

The South East Museums sector champion, we would like to invite you to The Beaney House of Art and Knowledge on Wednesday 18 September from 10.00 to 14.00. This is to join us in a South East Culture Health and Wellbeing Alliance Networking and Sharing Good Practice event aimed at those working within the museum sector.

There will be the opportunity to network with other museum professionals, share examples of good practice and develop the network to suit your needs.

Here is a brief outline of the day’s schedule:

  • Welcome and introductions (teas and coffees on arrival)
  • The Beaney Showcase
  • Sharing Good Practice
  • Lunch break
  • Speed Networking
  • Example of Museum Health and Wellbeing group
  • Feedback/reflections/next steps

Refreshments will be provided on arrival but you will need to bring a packed lunch with you (or there is a cafe within the museum where refreshments can be purchased). Please let the organisers know if you have any dietary requirements.

Unfortunately, there is a limit on places, so they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Priority of 1 place per organisation will be considered with a maximum of 25 places.

Please can you respond to Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, Frances Chiverton (frances.chiverton@canterbury.gov.uk) by Monday 2nd September at the latest if you would like to attend so that we can cater for numbers. Thank you.
