LENS event: 29 May 2019 in Brighton

There is a rich and diverse range of arts for health opportunities being delivered across Brighton and the South East, and the health and wellbeing benefits of cultural engagement are more widely recognised today than ever before.

To share and celebrate some of the success stories of such projects, Rhythmix; as South East champion for the Culture Health and Wellbeing Alliance, will be hosting a 'Participant Voice' event on the evening of 29th May at Brighton Health and Wellbeing Centre from 6.30pm-9pm.

You are warmly invited to join us for the evening to hear some inspiring stories of arts engagement from participants and practitioners alike.  Over light refreshments, we will take part in Q & A and workshops, including singing for health and a visual arts activity.  We will be hearing from Gilly Angell, lead for the Culture Health and Wellbeings Lived Experience Network, about how this network is growing and feeding into a national strategy for Arts and Health.  We'll also hear from the critically acclaimed Vincent Dance Theatre about their impactful work around social engagement.

If you would like to attend this free event, please sign up via Eventbrite here.
