Creative Health and Social Prescribing Event, May 2019

Organisations gathered from across the health and cultural sectors in the East at the inaugural Creative Health Network event on the afternoon of Thursday 16th May at the DanceHouse, Ipswich.

This event focussed on Creative Health and Social Prescribing and the programme included a presentation by Lord Howarth Co-Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group report, Creative Health (http://www.artshealthandwellbeing.org.uk/appg-inquiry/)

Case studies from across the region and a panel discussion was held on the development and delivery of social prescribing.

This event was part of the work of the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance, a new national sector support organisation funded by Arts Council England. It was organised by Suffolk Artlink and the University of Cambridge Museums as Eastern representatives for the Alliance steering group.
